ARCHIVING AND REPOSITORY POLICY

Archiving and Repository Policy

The Main Issues of Pedagogy and Psychology journal is committed to the long-term preservation of its scholarly content and supports open access to research outputs.

  1. Archiving Service
The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a trusted digital preservation service for journals using the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform. This ensures long-term storage and accessibility of all published articles.

  2. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit pre-print, post-print, and publisher’s version (PDF) of their articles in institutional or disciplinary repositories of their choice. No embargo period applies.

  3. Metadata and Indexing
All published content is assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and described using standard metadata formats such as Dublin Core. This enhances visibility, discoverability, and indexing by academic databases.

  4. Backups and Redundancy
Regular backups of the journal’s content are performed on secure servers to prevent data loss and ensure system recovery in the event of failure.

  5. Repository Interoperability
The journal’s content is available in multiple formats and is harvestable via the OAI-PMH protocol, facilitating integration with digital libraries and other preservation networks.

  6. Author Rights
Authors retain full copyright and publishing rights without restrictions. They may share and archive their work freely, provided proper attribution and a link to the official version are included.

  7. Compliance and Best Practices
Our archiving policy adheres to the Open Archival Information System (OAIS) reference model and aligns with the DOAJ Best Practice Guidelines.
